GOLF DIGEST WEEKLY UPDATE

The TNHL Open was played this past Friday with only one foursome, obviously the league All-Stars. Shooter, Daddy Pat, Sixpack & Sponge Bob PAR Pants spent a sun soaked afternoon at the Springfield Country Club. It came as no surprise that we were the only four to play as we happen to be the only true athletes in the TNHL.

Oddly enough the speed of our round was about the same as the pace of play on Tuesday night, good thing the rink does not have a ranger.

Shooter showed some skill posting the lowest score on the first two holes all while playing hurt, Jimmy has finished with the hormone treatments & will be heading in for his oppreation Monday. Seriously, best of luck Jimmy Im sure you will be up to your old tricks come October.

Spongee was able to get the hang of Liam's clubs & notched the first par of the day on the fifth hole & made sure that everyone was aware of his success. His play was steady all day & did not have to ask once if we were" AW ITE". Daddy Pat showed that hunger he brings to the rink on the front nine then he ate a couple of hotdogs at the turn & played pretty well the rest of the day. And I, Sixpack played the way I usually do, thinking I am better than I am while resisting the urge to kick away shots going towards the hole. I also showed why I play goal by missing at least two makeable par putts.

Im not sure how the round ended up because I had to leave after 5 hours of play & almost a full 14 holes, but as usuall there was a good time had by all. Maybe next time we can get another group out there & stretch it to a 10 hour round.

Yo guys,
Jimmy D is doing just fine.
His biggest question to the doctor was, 6 or 8 weeks before I can skate?
He is at Jefferson in Philly.
He is getting out Wednesday.

By the way Six Pack left out one of the best shots I have seen.
Joey had a 12 foot tree right in front of him. Instead of going around it he chipped right over top of the tree and landed on the green. He then "missed" the 1'putt for par. "Great shot Joe"

hmmmm....is the foursome in that first beer commercial the same one as the foursome that played golf? If so from the looks of it Sixpack really let his hair grow long.
