Game Summary - from the crease

Nice turn out, and a good pace, the goaltending was solid but by no means great. Good to see some old friends get back out there this week, Daddy Pat, Carl "Hurricane" Unger, my friend Fricker, Dennis Cahill who was recently recalled from the minors & Curt " Im not the guy having problems with the FBI".

As for the guys that played the first week, they picked up right where they left off. Spongee scoring a couple, along with Jaybird who was stellar on the back line. The Darkies led by Britzky scrapped all night, and almost managed to get back into it late. The White squad came out fast, with Crafty Kraskey not passing up any chance to score, which he did several times. Rusty looked like he took his Enzyte as he was up on his skates all night. Tree was as smooth as ever, did anyone else notice that his stick is green, you should see a doctor about that. It is going to take a couple of weeks for most skaters to get into shape, but the Commish seems to be there already. You can find him in his usual spot, just off the post at the back door. He'll be there all year.

The last ten minutes was the best hockey of the night, just like Brit said keep playing until Mom calls us in.
