WEEKLY UPDATE

Another good skate is in the books and once again the White boy's held off a late surge from the Darkies to skate away winners. This was a crazy game that saw lots of goals, some shaky(to say the least) goaltending along with several great saves. There was also a scary collision between Crabby & Officer Friendly, turns out Crab man has a couple of broken ribs (Crabby'Xray below, notice the rib displacement)
& I'm pretty sure Chuck has a stiff neck at the very least. Would we be able to tell if Chuck had a concussion? From my crease it appeared as though a WWF wrestling match broke out between Crabby & the Lower Merion Police Dept. Chuck appeared to try a pile driver into Crabby with both falling to the mat then Flounder moved in for the pin. Hopefully both of these guys will be back very soon.
Crafty had a huge night for the Whites scoring on several painfully slow shots from all over the ice, the shots were slower than the fourth track students at Chester High. Our weekly skate has turned into an offensive display, especially last night with the defense joining the rush & scoring big goals. Flounder opened the scoring for the Darkies & had another one later in the game, he jumped into the play like it was a hot tub full of co-eds.
Jaybird nearly notched what may have been his first hat-trick in the "T". Old friend Wojo returned, must have heard about the wrestling match, anyway he helped fill in for a few of our regulars. Although these guys were not here my sources tracked them down yesterday & sent me some pictures; Spongee, God Bless him, will go till the ends of the earth to save his beloved Bonner High.
Fricker had a basketball game,
Britter is becoming a mover & shaker in the radio biz
& Shooter was busy
& stood up another GILF.

For the first time this season I saw the back of Johnny Longpants jersey instead of trying to figure out which corner he was going to pick, it was a nice change.
Johnny showed his dedication to the TNHL with a tasty case of ice cold Rolling Rock spread out into two coolers, safe to say he led the game in ice time with that move. Guess he had to put his lunch in a brown bag today. The Commish had a nice assist with a case of league favorite LaBatt's in a nifty cardboard cooler.

Just to let you know I have a block pool for the game this weekend, plenty of blocks left, sorry I forgot to bring it with me last night let me know if you want any
JCMB636@verizon.net.
Till next week.

Guys, I received an e-mail with this information through my son’s hockey team; thought some of you may want to buy a shirt…. Heck, for $10 it could be a shirt for under your pads…. Read through and follow up if you want.

Thanks – Daddy Pat
Read on….

Proceeds from the t-shirts will help raise funds for his family.

A member of our Team Comcast family has received some very unfortunate news –
Eric Eberling, very fondly known to his friends, teammates and family as “Ebo”, has been diagnosed with a malignant tumor on his femur. Ebo had a biopsy performed which determined that this tumor was cancerous. However, a bone scan has determined that the cancer has not spread and is isolated to this one location. Ebo will begin chemotherapy later this week. Ebo is currently a member of our 16 American team after being an integral part of our Bantam Major team that participated in USA Hockey’s National Championships last season. We are confident that Ebo will win this battle, as we know no one with more fight, determination, strong will and positive attitude than Ebo. However, we would also appreciate everyone in our hockey community providing their support to Ebo through their thoughts and prayers.
A player (Eric Eberling) from the Team Comcast Midget 16 team is struggling with bone cancer. A friend of mine and her daugther are selling t-shirts to help raise funds for his family.

The tshirts are black with a red logo of EBO and the #24 - they are $10 a piece - if you are interested - please contact Chelsea Polidoro at C.Polidoro@yahoo.com or contact me. Chelsea can also send you pix of the shirt if you want. Thanks for your help and support. Also, let's keep his family in our thoughts!

Crabs, Goodman on buying a shirt. I have heard back from the woman doing the short fund raiser and they are available in any colr, as long as you want black with red print. Sizes are kids & adults S,M.L & XL - price $10.

Crabs I have you noted; Anyone else interested I will be taking size and dollars on Tuesday so we can place one order. If anyone wants to give more then $10, they will gladly accept it; if you want to throw in without a shirt that is good as well.
