'Twas The Skate Before Christmas

'Twas the skate before Christmas & all through the rink the boys were all dressed & ready to drink, with beers in the cooler & Frank in his van, the only ones missing were Buffy & the fan
The benches were crowded with skaters both young & old & hopes that in each net a goalie would fold.
But Tree would be ready with a glove or his stick, which are both working better than Shooters first fake hip.
No Fricker this game hope he doesn't resent this, but he was with Rudolph dressed as Hermie the dentist.

The White boys were ready & eager to dance, for the first time in three weeks they had Johnny Longpants. With Romo & Craskey the pace would be fast but they all had to know Murph was up for the task. He partners with Flounder a great combination, combined age near one hundred now that's dedication.
The White kept on coming with all there big guns, first Rusty then Chuck & both of their sons. Bet they told their wives "babe you should have seen us" boasting loudly & proudly 'bout what they made

with their penis.

White Doug couldn't make it his flight was delayed, Daddy Pat, Crabby & Liam all wished they had played.

The Darkies were loaded with some kids of their own & managed to keep some young legs in each of the zones. Five was alive & with one tricky fake, two White boys collided to make instant Sponge Cake.

Shaun joined us this game of the Patterson group & unlike his father & uncle the puck he would scoop. He raced up the wing looking to dish, eventually finding the stick of the Commish.
Cricket's skates had been sharpened & man he was flyin, working lots of his magic with his pal Quiet Brian. Or with Wojo who fights for pucks like Ali & Frazier & tells tales of an Italian princess & her fondness for razors.

But the game was a close one & the score doesn't matter & we keep playing hockey despite getting fatter. Some would think that we miss Durty Curty & Britter, but I know they'll be back those dudes are not quitters.
Now times running out on this holiday rhyme but not on us TNHL'ers we are still in our prime.
So lets rest a week if for no other reason than to have a Happy & Healthy holiday season.
