WEEKLY UPDATE

The boys were back on the ice & were flying after a week off, full benches & fresh legs make for a good skate. The Darkies pulled this one out with "the next goal wins" goal giving them a two goal victory. Crabby led the way for the Darkies sliding through the slot to block a shot on his first shift & continued to play his best game of the new year. Curty, Rusty, Liam & Chuck were all over the place, scoring & setting up chances while Jaybird, Murph & Britter held down the fort at the back line.
The Whites fell behind early but battled back with a flurry of goals midway through the game. There was plenty of skill dressed in White, Rudy, Quiet Brian & The Commish all had good chances that led to points but it was JD who proved to be the sniper blowing two long range shots past Sixpack. Spongee was unable to get on the scoreboard ending his goal scoring streak at one game. On defense Daddy Pat & Tony Romo teamed with Timmy & Johnny longpants all joined the play at the offensive end & stood tall in front of there own end. Tree was his typical solid self keeping the fan clapping loud enough for me to hear at the other end of the ice. Shooter played his normal gritty/graceful game but he dropped the ball on the beer by bringing only 24 I guess one case of LaBatts is the same price as two cases of Lions Head.
It has come to our attention that we may have some fans that cannot make it out to the games so they keep abreast of the action in the TNHL by reading the Blog. You can't get a more honest account of what happen during the game & since we do not have an official photographer we must add pictures that can best describe the action. Some may think this Blog does little more than exploit women, this is simply not true & we should not be judged by our pictures. Like this one
