The Commissioners meeeting was last night. They talked about the rink. They said they needed more time to look at all options.
I guess if a board member's kid was skating, the rink would be up and running. It is not going to open this season they said......

I wrote an e-mail to the commisioner listed in a previous Blog posting and received the response below:
Patrick Thanks for the positive comments about the Springfield CC Ice Rink. To date, no action has yet to be taken regarding repairs. Township officials are anxiously awaiting a report from our structural engineer regarding the roof and possible alternatives on repairs. Until we receive that report, any comments regarding repairs would be purely speculative. Accordingly, a target date for reopening has not been established.
