Game 20 Summary - from the crease

Not one word was added to the BLOG on Tuesday, guess that must have been the calm before the storm. With both benches full the action was fast and the bodies were flying. Just a reminder guys, everyone has to WORK in the morning (except Liam, unless it snows), so keep the sticks down & no cheap stuff. We don’t need any more injuries.

On to the game, Tuesday was a good night for the goalies, as I’m sure Mick will agree, The Pope & SIXPACK had many big saves keeping the game close and the score low. Krafty Craskey was finally able to bank one off the Pope’s ass to open the scoring about 40 minutes in. But that was not the only puck that bounced off a body part as Mick Cheney welcomed a guest skater I’ll call Youngblood by bouncing one off our new friends face. Youngblood was wearing only a helmet, no shield, so you kind of had to figure some kind of accident was going to happen, like when you ask a fat girl if she wants the last piece of cake. All in all it was a good game, nice to see the return of a few regulars to the ice as well as Crabby, behind the bench, after his stint as head coach of the Swedish Men’s hockey team at the Olympics. Here’s hoping he can return to the ice soon. Hats off to Billy Leach for his collection of Canadian soft drinks, because of his choices he has been issued a new nickname. After discussions with the Commish, his attorney, and the nickname board, {Daddy Pat, Liam,& SIXPACK} it was decided that Buckets will be Billy new handle. Other choices included Statue, Old Pants, & 12pack.

Till next week,

Remember guys play hard but keep it clean

The TNHL has contracted experts to clarify some terminology we use that may not be understood by every player. Please review the following.

TNHL Definitions:

BEER = 30 or more individual, self contained, vessels. (18 players X 2 beers = 36 BEERS)

Clean Play = Keeping your stick down at all times;Minimal contact with a player with your stick (if you make contact the polite question"are you OK" to let the player know it was an accident); coincidental contact (no runs)

Good Hustle = Going hard each shift while observing the "Clean Play" definition.

Hard Play = Skating the entire shift; AKA keeping you feet moving

Skating = That thing Mick, Carl & Rob do every week that makes them move around the ice so fast.

Ice = 1. The surface we play on eack week. 2. The substance that MUST be covering the BEER while we are playing.

MVP = 1. The Commish for organizing this circus every week, every year. 2. The player that brings the BEER and has it covered in Ice ready to go.

I have a problem with some of the definitions.

Beer = 1 case and Liam always gets the last one.

Clean Play: if the the guys isn't bleeding or clutching his knee afterwars(yo sixpack), then the play is clean.

Good Hustle: Is there bad hustle?

Skating?

What about CockBlocking? Right Sponge?

Commish,

Time for league wide drug testing. Frst candidate...Crabby.

I Googled TNHL, just because you mentioned it, and I got some Chineese Mail order bride website. By the way, I am getting married to Yan Lei next Saturday or Monday depending on when her cargo ship docks.
