i have 8 tix for the playoffs all in the same section (210) ...not sure if the playoff schedule jives with my little league coachin duties but if it does how about a drunken TNHL field trip to the first or second home Flyers game?

I was down there and it is NOT a way to decide a hockey game, season OR playoff spot.
I know, you have to find a way to decide games and reduce ties. We all remember the OT games of dump and no chase when it was the split the points system. I just think gimics are not the way to do it, it cheapens the game. How about if a game ends in a tie they play a 5 or 7 minute overtime. If it is still tied at the end of OT, then NOBODY gets a point. Don't you think teams would rev up the offense to score in OT so the entire 60+ minutes of skating wasn't for nothing. Take the game Sunday in this scenario; If no points were awarded the Rangers are out and the Flyers would be in due to having more wins. Don't you think the Rangers would have playing like the wildman in that OT? YES and THAT is what the NHL needs.

Game Summary .....what hell was i thinking when i broke up with that chick on the left?
I saw Bob Artese the other day and he told me that the township said that this time next year the rink would be a parking lot. He said that the Insurance Co. won't pay to put a new roof on the old girl, so there just going to tear it down. Is there a nicks near ice works? Go Flyers!!!

As you may already know, it is a sin for a Muslim male to see any woman other than his wife naked and if he does, he must commit suicide. So next Saturday at 1 PM Eastern Time, all American women are asked to walk out of their house completely naked to help weed out any neighborhood terrorists.

Guys, below is the reply I received asking about the rink...don't sound good.
Thank you for the kind remarks about the Ice Rink and our community. Repairs to the ice Rink have not started, nor is there anything schedules at this time. The Township's consulting engineer has recommended the entire roof structure of the facility be replaced. His report has been forwarded to our insurance carrier and we are anxiously awaiting there response. Due to the complexities of the damage and the potential cost associated with the repairs, I don't expect a quick response from the insurance company. Therefore it is extremely unlikely the rink will be open in the fall. At this time, no determination has been made for the long-term viability of the facility.
