EOY Awards

AWARDS BARBEQUE RECAP

The last skate of the season was a family affair, The Commish brought along proof that someone in his family had some hockey skills, as young Dan was sharp in goal.

Shooter brought along the leading scorer in the Donohue family Jimmy "OVECHKIN" Donohue Jr.

Sixpack’s oldest son displayed talent that must have been passed down from his mother, as we have watched Sixpack play long enough to know it didn’t come from the old man. Brendan, his youngest is still a work in progress.

Which leads us to The Fury’s and their young stable of talent, Mitch lit up Sixpack for a HATTRICK, & Natalie also scored while playing major minutes for both squads, Russ & Buffy may have the next Cammi Granato & Wayne Gretzky on their hands.

Liam was on hand, a little late but none the worse for wear, luckily none of our police skaters were on hand or old Liam may have been cited for SUI (skating under the influence)

Good to see our one Legged Crabby on hand to lend his support to the fellas in the drinking department, we look forward to seeing his Crabbiness back on the ice next season.

The barbeque was also a success, it had everything, frozen burgers (Liam brought some homemade junk) hot dogs & of course Russ’ Striper. The young guns ripped through the wings & brownies while the old dudes did their best to gather as many 12oz. trophies as possible.

There was plenty of eye candy on hand as well, all the wives and daughters do a wonderful job of making the TNHL stars look better off the ice than we do on.

It was a fun end to another great year of the TNHL. Thanks must go out to the Commish for putting all this together & dealing with the headaches that go with it. Looking forward to October.

P.S. Flyers game Tuesday night at Moe’s ( Rt. 1 & 320).

The End

All in all, it was a crappy season for me personally, but here's to a great 2006-2007 season that may just feature the return of #15 and Glenn un-retiring.

Let's focus here lads

Concentrate on the things in life that are really important. Like these headlights for instance.

MIA Night Game Summary

Team USA had to fight for a beer?
Come on, the game last night didn't count. We live close to the city of "brotherly love."
I walked into the locker room of team Ireland. It was like being the only shellfish to be had on a Friday during Lent. Not only did they want the shellfish they wanted the pineapple too.
The Commish, after taking some pictures on the ice, comes into USA's locker room and ask? Where's the rest of the beer? The beer is in Irelands locker room. I was the only one to get a beer due to Crab's nice ways. I told The Commish to go get one. I explained it was brutal in Irelands locker room.
Fricker who was pushed away by Ireland and played on Team USA, also was at the end of the Spuds beating staff. Fricker was dressed just in his "CUP" and writing on the coaches board, THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE IRELAND, THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE IRELAND. The Commish after hearing all the mayhem in that locker room said "F... Those Spuds."

Six Pack and Dennis St. Dennis its good to hear you maybe at the last game. The little Siv's have been doing a great job. Maybe Iceman can heal faster and Dunfee can just video tape his horses being STUDDED OUT! Chuck it was the same time as last week 8:45 on the ICE. The Smooth one is moving to Florida, he will be missed. He told some of us, you guys have come a long way but still need to travel a long way.

If you were counting: USA 12
IRELAND 6

Grab the party popper's, USA goes for the win next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
